WHEN: AUDITIONS 4TH-8TH MARCH. SHOOT THURS & FRI 14TH-29TH MARCH.

Actors aged 18-40, male and female.

We're shooting a series of videos illustrating cinematography techniques, and need actors who can improvise while hitting their marks. No dialogue will be recorded, as we're showing the moves only.

This is an educational project by an established writer/director.

Some scenes will require simulated chases and fights, but this is not essential for all roles.

Mostly shooting early mornings or nights on Thursdays and Fridays during March, in Perth. 6-hour calls, pay to be advised.

Please confirm likely availability, send a recent image, and a showreel link if possible.

Brief auditions to be held in Balcatta 4th-8th March.

We require actors who can improvise a variety of characters for the various scenes. In one scene you may play a bank robber, and in the next a social worker. All scenes are very short, and you must be able to take precise direction and hit your marks.

Mythological Fanboy (or Fangirl)

IN SHORT
WHO: FEMALE ACTOR 18-24
         MALE ACTOR 18-24
WHAT: WEBSERIES
WHY: PRO BONO
WHEN: AUDITION 7TH FEBRUARY

Hi everyone,
WASTV’s latest webseries “Mythological Fanboy/Fangirl” is currently searching for one lead and one supporting role.

The series is a mock-vlog that follows the life of a Hercules fanboy/fangirl giving their own accounts of the 12 labours. Rants/skits about the labours are paired with rants/skits about some everyday occurrence in the fan’s life that reflect the ‘labour of the week’. Being a vlog, it’ll be dialogue driven, with several monologues, depending on the final script. The fanboy/girl will be onscreen for the entire series, and the ‘sane one’ will appear mid-season.

We have two characters that we’re auditioning for

1) The fanboy/girl.
a. Overly enthusiastic about Hercules; along the lines of Bieber Fever, possibly further into stalker territory.
b. Can be male or female
c. Around uni age (around 18- around 24)
d. Good knowledge of Greek mythology
e. Comedy improvisation skills desirable

2) The ‘sane one’
a. A foil to the fanperson. Tries to mediate the weirdness.
b. Male or female
c. Around uni age
d. Doesn’t need quite such good knowledge of the mythology

If you’re interested, email teik.guan@hotmail.com or reply this email and we’ll set up a personal audition (probably be Tues-Thurs next week)
